The Velocity Recon Paraglider features Reflex Technology and is the first of its kind: A Paraglider which doubles as both a competition and a cross country glider. The Velocity Recon has earned the nickname “The Race Car of the Sky!” With improved efficiency, a high aspect-ratio, and Reflex profile, the Velocity Recon gives Paramotor pilots that “need for speed!” With tip-steering and standard break toggles, you can customize how the glider handles while in flight. Many of our BlackHawk Team Pilots have made the Recon Paraglider their glider of choice. This glider is not recommended for beginner pilots. Please talk to your instructor about gear recommendations to suit your personal skill-level and needs.

Velocity Recon Paraglider Features:

6.2 to 1 high efficiency glide & aspect ratio
Features 62 cells to maintain a tight shape control
Recon is extremely lightweight at only 12lbs.
Speeds of 42mph can be achieved with full accelerator, 33mph at fast-trim, 27mph standard, and a minimum of 14mph
Designed with 18 closed cells (9 on each side), and 44 open cells
Can be used for BOTH competition and cross-country application
Split A’s allow for easy “Big-Ears”
Features a reduction accelerator system – provides for an increased accelerator pull from a much shorter movement
(QRRS Technology) – Quick Reflex Release Safety System
Features a 3.25″ trim system, and a 7.5″ accelerator system for versitility
The upper surface of the glider is constructed out of Dominico 40g material
The lower surface of the glider is constructed out of Porcher Skytex 27 material
